Academic Book Publishing & Royalty Agreement

Parties: Walnut Academia (Publisher) and The Contributing Academic Author / Professor (Author).

    Key Special Term (Special Initiative till 27-Oct-2026):

    Zero Processing Charges (Zero APC). Full manuscript editorial intake, peer layout formatting, ISBN assignment, and global distribution are provided at completely zero upfront or hidden fee for qualifying faculty authors from India, SAARC, and Africa.

1. Grant of Publishing Rights

The Author grants Walnut Academia the non-exclusive/exclusive worldwide right to publish, reproduce, market, distribute, and sell the Work in print (paperback/hardcover) and electronic (e-Book) editions across global academic distribution networks.

2. Copyright & Intellectual Property

The Author retains full intellectual ownership and copyright of the content. Walnut Academia upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and ensures author attribution on all published materials and metadata registries.

3. Plagiarism & Non-AI Originality Warranty

The Author expressly warrants that the manuscript is an original academic monograph or book work, free from plagiarism, and created without unauthorized automated AI-generation tools. The work must not infringe upon the intellectual property or copyright of any third party.

4. Royalty Sharing & Transparent Accounting

Walnut Academia guarantees transparent royalty accounting:

Print Edition: Author receives up to 100% of net profits / agreed royalty rate on every copy sold through domestic and international distribution channels.
e-Book Edition: author receives high-yield electronic royalty shares transparently tracked.
Reporting: Authors receive periodic transparent sales statements and timely bi-annual royalty disbursements directly to their registered bank accounts.

5. Worldwide Academic Distribution

The Publisher shall make the Work available through international distribution catalogs including major academic book depositories, global retail networks (Amazon India, Amazon US/UK/EU, IngramSpark partner networks, university libraries, and academic platforms).

6. Editorial Quality & Review

The manuscript shall undergo comprehensive editorial screening, proofing, cover design alignment, and metadata cataloging before official release and global indexing.
